9月1日是“防灾日”。为了让学生们能够在日本安全地生活，本校于9月28日和29日开展了防灾学习和避难演练。
在防灾学习中，同学们使用东京都发放的《防灾口袋指南》，学习了发生地震时应该怎么做。课上设想了在家中遇到地震、在外出时遇到地震等不同情况，学习了如何保护自身安全，以及平时需要做好哪些准备。很多内容学生们都是第一次了解，所以听得非常认真。防灾学习结束后，还有学生分享了感想： “我想在家里准备一个应急包。”“我知道了发生地震时该怎么做。”
防灾学习之后进行了避难演练，学生们在老师的带领下，实际前往了避难所和避难场所。尽管冒雨避难很辛苦，全体学生还是顺利完成了避难。
